Recycling is simple — but it’s often easier for someone to toss their recyclable materials into the trash than it is to hunt down the proper receptacle. Even in New York City where hundreds of bins have been setup for easy accessibility, they may still be difficult to spot out in the crowded metropolis. Well, Recycly is here to solve that problem. With only simple click to open the app, Recycly presents you with a mapped route from your location to the nearest recycling bin. To increase the ease of finding the nearby bin, users are also given step by step directions and even a photographic image of the bin at it’s location courtesy of Google Street View. With this simple tool, residents and guests of the city can eliminate the only (previously) valid excuse for not ensuring that all of their recyclable waste ends up where it belongs.
